Church Services every Sunday during the summer @ 11am in the Hecla Community Church— non denominational, upbeat, casual, lots of music, and something for children as well. July long weekend to September long week.

         August 18 - Annual Loaves and Fishes Fisherman's Service

 

July 21st 2019Hecla Island Triathlon Hecla Half Ironman, Olympic, and Sprint Distance Triathlon weekend www.Heclatri.com held at the Lakeview Resort. Volunteers needed!

 

 

August 4th 1 pm -  Annual Hecla Parade, Silent Auction, Bake Sale, and BBQ.

10am- 3pm - Silent Auction, Bake Sale, BBQ hosted by the Hecla Historic Villiage Association, and Riverton Friendship Center. Donations can be dropped off to Fran Albertson or to the museum by July 20th.

1pm - Hecla Parade in the Village - road closes to traffic before 1pm parade start. Meet at Fish Camp road. Floats to start arriving at noon. Contact Marvin Benson at 204-941-3650.

 

August 17th– Hecla North Shore Cottage Owners Association Annual Fun Golf Tournament - Golfers and non golfers are all welcomed. Golf at 2:30 for 3pm 9 holes rain or shine. Fisherman’s Service  August 18th - 11am Hecla Community Church “Blessing of the Fleet” ,following the service come and join us for loaves & fishes at the Community Hall.

 

 

August 31st — Annual Bud Spud fundraiser for DFHI  Museum. Held at the Hecla Marina. Tickets are $25 and include dinner and a beer. Live entertainment and a silent auction. Tickets available at Museum, or Gae Lynn Labossiere glkjartanson@gmail.com and Maxine Ingalls jinjalls@mymts.net.

 

October 5th - Hecla Half Marathon www.heclahalf.com  10km and 5km run - fundraiser for the Lake Winnipeg Research Consortium. Www.lakewinnipegresearch.org which operates the M.V. Namao and Fylgja, the only science research vessels on Lake Winnipeg.

Hecla Island Ladies 9 Hole Fun Golf - 5:30 pm June 18, July 2, 3, 16, 17, 30, 31
